Can exercising be fun? “Impossible”……… I hear you say. Well let me explain how fun and exercise ended up in the same sentence. Let’s assume you have never heard of Wii Fit before. The Wii Fit is very simply put an exercise-themed game by Nintendo which includes a balance board that is truly an amazing piece of equipment. Moving your feet ever so slightly will even register as a shift in balance on the extremely sensitive balance board. Wii Fit Plus dishes up (if you’ll pardon the pun) a variety of fun game modes in which to burn up some calories.

With the Wii Fit Plus the difference is that you’ll be doing some type of exercise and having fun while being in the comfort of your own home.

The “BAD”
Now all games do have some “not so good features” and the Wii Fit Plus is no different. The balance board can be difficult to use with one or two games. The other little problem is that the BMI measurement does not take muscle-to-fat ratio into consideration so is therefore not 100% accurate. You should probably therefore just use these results as a guideline to your progress.

Conclusion
Overall though a lot has to be said for a game that makes exercising fun and will improve your health if you stick to it. The Wii Fit is no more going to turn you into a super athlete than what Wii Tennis is going to make you beat Raphael Nadal, but it can certainly improve your overall health if you play (exercise) the game regularly. You can however easily wake up a bit stiff and sore the following morning if you put yourself through one of the tougher workouts of Wii Fit Plus, but hey isn’t that the whole idea. Wii Fit Plus will definitely help you lose more calories than sitting on the couch doing nothing while eating another “Wacky” Wednesday Burger and Chips……LOL!!!
