Maintaining the described posture, lift your shoulders towards the pelvis, without moving your lower back. Recline back to the original position keeping your knees still. Faster weight-loss can be achieved by increasing the exercise duration via regular practice.
2. Russian Twist: This exercise involves the use of a standard decline bench. Placing your legs under the pads, raise your hands till they are perpendicularly aligned with your body. Briskly move your hands from left to right and reverse again, keeping the rest of your body still. Since this is a relatively strenuous exercise; start with limited time periods of up to one minute only. Increase the exercise period as your comfort level improves. The best exercise that enables a decent ab workout and weight-loss at the same time is undoubtedly the Russian twist.
3. The Regular Plank: Position your body as you would while doing push-ups and concentrate your entire body weight on your hands which must be positioned at a 90 degrees angle to your body. Your body should remain straight from head to toe. Keep you body in the above-mentioned position till you can take the strain, this duration can only be increased by regular practice.
4. AB Roller: The AB Roller is the most effective exercise machine currently available for the specific purpose of losing belly fat; it is also affordable and maintenance free. To get a good ab workout, hold the AB Roller properly with both hands and thrust it forwards and backwards using your abdomen. 5. Leg Raise: Lie down on an exercise bench keeping your body straight and raise your legs till they are perpendicular to your body.
