Women in Car Auctions
Many women feel uncomfortable when going to car auctions because of the way they are regarded by other participants and even by the sellers. Some seller still live in medieval times, and think that women will never buy a car, not only because they don’t have the money, but also because they don’t need it. Some women found a perfect solution for buying car from live auctions: they bring their husband along, tell him what to bid on and how much and he acts then like he is deciding.
If a woman want to avoid the uncomfortable situation of being addressed by a salesman that thinks he is Dan Juan, they either leave home or don’t come at all and try the online auctions. Over the internet, no one cares if you are a woman or a man. No one sees you, no one cares who you what or what you look like, the only things that matters is the bid, and if you can cope with it or not.
Women are much more accurate buyers than men, and they know before starting exactly what they want. If they intend to be the owners of a used crossfire, then you can be sure they will buy one today. This can constitute a reason for confusion, when other men watch them and see them bidding on only one car, until they get it. They know if they are overbidding or not, and even if they do, they simply want that car. Salesmen try to rush women away from auctions. Other men that are bidders get annoyed when they are bidding against a woman. This is why, for women, online auctions are the real deal. If a man sees a good deal, he will get it even if he came for something else, but a woman won’t care because she knows she wants something else. If a woman want a family car, then that’s what she will get even if it’s the season when family cars are overpriced. If you want a search done properly, ask a woman. Women do find the things they look for eventually, and can even obtain good prices online. If, by change, women are car auction sellers, then they are actually advantaged because other sellers will want nothing to do with them, witch is good, and buyer will often ask for car details, witch is also good.
