2 Mental Health Questions Inside?
Okay so for the past couple of years, my brain has become somewhat “clustered”.
Here’s what’s happening:
I’m constantly trying to be the best at everything, e.g. I hear someone say something about a person and I automatically want to be better and when I do my homework, I’ll spend hours trying to fid an answer because I don’t want to look stupid by not finding the answer .
And…
I constantly have about 7 things going on in my mind and I’m always worrying about each of them, e.g. Doing up my room, getting school supplies, losing weight, overcoming laziness, writing a book, etc.
I’m actually wasting away with all of this. Seriously, I’ve completely changed. I uses to get the right amount of sleep and now I stay up until like 5am thinking about everything!!!
Please help me! What’s wrong with me?????
Your brain is clustered eh? Well OCD may be right but to help you for now there are a few things you should do.
Being the best isn’t important, concentrate on being good, and find YOUR specialty! Healthy competition is one thing but straining yourself so hard just to find one answer that isn’t that important is something entirely different! Don’t stress those little things, if you are stuck YOU MUST admit you could use a hand! Cooperating with others is an amazing skill.
You also say you have many things on your mind, it sounds simple but if you write these things down on a to-do list it will eradicate them from your brain. Keep your list by your side, do the things on the list when you have time to do so, DON’T rush them! Doing this will make you feel better, but if you still have these thoughts it could be Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (fairly common). You’ll be fine!
