How to strengthen my wrist too shoot the basketball further…and how do I hold the ball correctly?

How to increse my wrist and follow thru. Also when I shoot the ball often slips with I shoot and I can;t follow thru correctly. I thought maybe because my hands are to small, but I seen people with smaller hands follow thru perfect. The ball just doesnt feel right when it comes off my hand. Can anybody help me on these two questions?

Start carrying around bricks to develop hand strength. With enough hand strength you could palm the ball with ease and rough hands make like a spider climbing up the wall effect glueing the ball to your hand for control. Arm strength is most important and leg strength. Practice calf raises, squat thrusts, benching, maybe try throwing a medicine ball at a wall as hard as you can… if it can develope bone crushing punches it might develope the strength you are seeking to throw a ball halfway across a court.
